QuickCart

Brand Design — a rebrand plus storefront kit for a rapidly growing web retailer.

QuickCart merchant storefront dressed with the new brand

Overview

QuickCart owned its market fit but bled buyers at the till: shoppers adored the range yet doubted the checkout. The former look — loud, voucher-strewn, jittery — fed that doubt.

The new direction swaps pressure for assurance: a quieter palette, everyday-language microcopy, and page templates engineered to sell on phones first.

Challenge & approach

Data showed drop-offs peaking around delivery and returns wording. I rewrote the full microcopy layer — shipping pledges, returns, guarantees — in plain speech, then shaped the interface to honour those pledges.

Split tests on the fresh product and basket templates proved each major call before wider release — steadying a rebrand that touched every money page.

Deliverables & outcome

A whole commercial apparatus — marks, templates, tone — that earned back its fee inside the first quarter live.
