Lumière

Brand Identity • Art Direction — a full identity for a small fragrance house, from wordmark to debut campaign.

Lumiere perfume bottle and packaging on a stone surface

Overview

Lumière bottles small-batch perfume with large ambition — yet its shelves whispered while the scent sang. The brief called for a look as warm, exact, and lingering as the fragrance.

Across four weeks I drew the wordmark, a pack system spanning six scents, a debut site, and the entire campaign kit — steering photography around one amber-glow thread.

Challenge & approach

The puzzle was presence without clamour: the label had to lift off a packed apothecary row yet sit serenely on a marble bathroom ledge. Stockist interviews showed buyers decide inside four seconds.

Contrast supplied the answer — deep charcoal fields with a single luminous amber note — repeated faithfully from seal to site hero. One signature, applied everywhere, legible at any scale.

Deliverables & outcome

All of it landed as one coherent system, captured in a 40-page manual so the in-house crew could grow it unaided.
